China Carbon Steel Supplier
ZIVO STEEL sources carbon steel coil, partner plate, structural pipe and machining round bar. Choose the delivered form before using the grade or standard on your drawing. The coil table and coil minimum order below apply only to coil; other forms are quoted against their own order conditions.

What ZIVO STEEL Supplies in Carbon Steel
ZIVO STEEL CO., LTD. is a steel supplier and not a mill. Carbon steel coil is rolled by partner factories: where the factory already holds the material, the order ships from that stock, and where it does not, production is arranged. Every export market is served except the United States.
Carbon steel in this family is supplied as coil, partner plate, structural pipe and machining bar. The coil subset has two rolling routes. Hot rolled coil is supplied as-rolled with the mill scale left on, pickled, or pickled and oiled — the surface is a field of the order, not a by-product of the route. Cold rolled coil is rolled down again from hot rolled coil and is supplied full hard, annealed or half hard; which standard temper symbol each of those maps to is settled against the governing standard when the order is placed.
What varies most between enquiries is not the steel but the language the order is written in. Q235B, SS400, S235JR and DC01 are names from four different standard systems, and each system brings its own symbols, its own tables and its own certificate to read them against. First choose the delivered form. The coil table below sorts coil enquiries by the drawing; plate, pipe and bar have separate product pages, because their standard route and acceptance fields are not coil fields.
Zinc-coated steel is a separate commercial family, with its own pages and its own ordering fields. It is not a heavier version of what is on this page, and it never appears in a carbon table here.

Carbon Steel Coil Routes at a Glance
Eleven confirmed coil ordering routes sit in the coil subset; this table is not the entire carbon steel family. Each line is a grade name, the standard that grade name comes from, and the rolling route it is supplied in.
| Grade | Ordering standard | Route |
|---|---|---|
| Q235B | GB/T 700 | Hot rolled |
| Q355B | GB/T 1591 | Hot rolled |
| SS400 | JIS G 3101 | Hot rolled |
| SPHC | JIS G 3131 | Hot rolled |
| S235JR | EN 10025-2 | Hot rolled |
| ASTM hot rolled coil route | ASTM A1011/A1011M | Hot rolled |
| Hot rolled pickled and oiled coil | GB/T 700 | Hot rolled, pickled and oiled |
| SPCC | JIS G 3141 | Cold rolled |
| DC01 | EN 10130 | Cold rolled |
| DC03 | EN 10130 | Cold rolled |
| DC04 | EN 10130 | Cold rolled |
The table names each standard by its code and stops there. An order is accepted against one particular edition of that standard, and the edition is settled with the specification instead of being assumed from a code; the certificate is then read against the edition that was agreed.
Sizes are not on this page. Hot rolled and cold rolled coil are supplied in different thickness and width bands, and flattening them into a single span would produce a range that belongs to neither route. Each route carries its own band, against the grades that actually run in it.
Pickled and oiled is not a twelfth grade. It is the hot rolled route ordered with the scale taken off and an oil film applied, and it has a line of its own here because that is how enquiries ask for it.
Two things do not vary down the table, so they are stated once rather than repeated as a column: every line in this table is supplied as coil, and every line is rolled by a partner factory. Everything else — the surface, the temper, the dimensions, the coil the material has to arrive on — is agreed with ZIVO sales before the order and kept on file for the shipment it belongs to.
Choose the Delivered Form and Route
First identify the final form: coil, sheet, plate, pipe or bar. A plate order needs its rolled-plate or cut-to-length route, a pipe order needs its structural ERW or separately specified route, and a machining bar order needs its hot-rolled or separately evidenced cold-finished route. Only then compare the coil entries below: a coil enquiry may start from a grade on a drawing, but the grade name alone does not settle its product form or specification.
- Carbon steel coilStart here when the inquiry has not yet selected a rolling route.
- Hot rolled carbon steel coilCheck the hot rolled route and its ordering specification.
- Cold rolled carbon steel coilCheck the cold rolled route and the required delivery condition.
- Q235B carbon steel coilUse this route when the drawing names Q235B.
- Q355B carbon steel coilUse this route when the drawing names Q355B.
- SPCC cold rolled steel coilUse this route when the drawing specifies the JIS designation SPCC.
- DC01 cold rolled steel coilUse this route when the drawing specifies the EN designation DC01.
- DC03 cold rolled steel coilUse this route when the drawing specifies the EN designation DC03, then settle the delivery condition, surface and acceptance basis in the quotation.
- Pickled and oiled steel coilReview the hot rolled route with scale removed and an oil film specified.
- Carbon Steel PlateChoose rolled plate or cut-to-size, then agree finished dimensions and identification.
- Carbon Steel PipeChoose structural ERW or a separately specified industrial route, then settle dimensions and tests.
- Carbon Steel BarChoose machining round bar and its delivery condition before size and cutting.
- Carbon Steel Thin SheetChoose a finished-piece route and specify hot- or cold-rolled type, dimensions and acceptance.
What Each Form Needs in an Enquiry
Start every enquiry with intended use, delivered form, governing material or product standard, quantity and required documents. For coil, add rolling route, grade, surface or temper, thickness, width and coil conditions. For plate, add finished dimensions, condition and cutting. For pipe, add section, outside diameter, wall, ends and tests. For bar, add section, size, length and machining allowance. ZIVO confirms the actual specification with you before the order; no coil dimension is inherited by another form.
- The grade, and the standard beside itA grade name on its own leaves the certificate with no table to be checked against. Write Q235B with GB/T 700, SPCC with JIS G 3141, DC01 with EN 10130, and so on down whichever line the drawing uses.
- The routeHot rolled or cold rolled, and on a hot rolled order whether the coil is pickled, or pickled and oiled. The route decides which band the thickness and the width come out of, which is why an enquiry that leaves it open is the one that comes back with questions.
- The surface, on a hot rolled orderAs-rolled with the mill scale on, pickled, or pickled and oiled. All three are supplied, and one of the three has to be chosen.
- The temper, on a cold rolled orderFull hard, annealed or half hard. Which standard temper symbol each of those maps to is settled against the governing standard at order, so plain words are enough in the enquiry and the symbol is fixed with the specification.
- Thickness, width, length and quantityAnd with them the coil inner diameter and the coil weight your uncoiler can take. Those two are not decoration: a coil that will not fit the line is a coil that cannot be run.
- The documents the order has to arrive withA mill test certificate and a packing list travel with every shipment. If third-party inspection is wanted, say so while the enquiry is open: it is accepted, and its cost is paid by you.
- The quantity an order starts atOne coil, and at least 3 t of it, on any route in this family.

Which Standard Edition Your Order Runs To
The pages above name standards; an order and a mill certificate are accepted against one edition of one standard. These are the current editions as the standards bodies listed them on 2026-09-20, with the edition each one replaced. Write the year beside the standard on the order, and check that the certificate names the same one. ZIVO does not hold the text of these standards, so no figure from their tables appears anywhere on this site; where a requirement has to be quoted, it is quoted from the body that published it and named as such.
- GB/T 700-2006Carbon structural steels. Listed 现行 on the Chinese national standards full-text portal, issued 2006-11-01 and effective 2007-02-01.
- GB/T 1591-2018High strength low alloy structural steels. Listed 现行, issued 2018-05-14 and effective 2019-02-01.
- JIS G 3101:2024Rolled steels for general structure. Issued 2024-02-20 and listed 有効 by the JSA; the two most recent revisions are 2022-05-20 and 2024-02-20, so a 2022 reference is already one edition behind.
- JIS G 3131:2024Hot-rolled mild steel plates, sheet and strip. Issued 2024-11-20 and listed 有効, revising the 2018-08-20 edition.
- JIS G 3141:2021Cold-reduced carbon steel sheet and strip. Issued 2021-04-20 and listed 有効.
- EN 10025-2:2019Hot rolled products of structural steels, technical delivery conditions for non-alloy structural steels. BSI gives BS EN 10025-2:2019 as the current release.
- EN 10130:2006Cold rolled low carbon steel flat products for cold forming. BSI gives BS EN 10130:2006 as Current, published 29 December 2006.
- ASTM A1011/A1011M-25Steel sheet and strip, hot-rolled. This is the specification a hot rolled coil order runs to; A36/A36M is a structural steel specification and does not cover coil.
Documents and Inspection
The order sets the acceptance basis for each form. A coil inspection list cannot stand in for plate flatness, pipe tests or bar condition. Confirm the governing standard and edition, the material or bundle marks, the MTC scope and the packing list against the actual supplier route. The coil checks listed here apply to coil shipments only.
Two things are worth asking for by name at the start. First, that the mill test certificate is the mill original rather than a retyped sheet. Second, that the specification kept on file is the one the certificate gets read against — it is agreed with ZIVO sales before the order and held for that shipment, so acceptance at the far end is a comparison rather than a memory test.
- Mill test certificate and packing listEvery shipment leaves with a mill test certificate and a packing list.
- The certificate is the mill originalThe mill test certificate supplied with a shipment is the mill original.
- Checks before the coil leavesThickness, width, surface, weight, packing and labels are checked before shipment.
- Third-party inspectionInspection by a third party such as SGS or BV is accepted; its cost is paid by you.
- Coil label photosPhotos of the coil labels can be provided.
- The specification on fileWhat ZIVO sales agreed with you before the order is kept on file, and it is the document the certificate is read against.

Packing and Shipment
The usual ports of loading are Qingdao and Tianjin.
How a carbon coil is packed, how its edges are protected and what protects the surface on the water are set with the specification before the order rather than taken from a default. They are chosen for the voyage and for the wait at the far end, not only for what your line likes to feed, so say in the enquiry how long the coil will sit before it runs and whether it will be stored outside.
The surface belongs in the same sentence, because as-rolled with the mill scale on, pickled, and pickled and oiled are three different surfaces leaving the factory. ZIVO sales settles the surface and the protection together, and both go on the specification that is kept on file.

Frequently Asked Questions
ZIVO supplies carbon steel coil and confirmed partner routes for plate, structural pipe and machining round bar. Each form has its own specification and order conditions; the coil table describes coil only.
Q235B in GB/T 700 and Q355B in GB/T 1591; SS400 in JIS G 3101, SPHC in JIS G 3131 and SPCC in JIS G 3141; S235JR in EN 10025-2, with DC01, DC03 and DC04 in EN 10130; and on the ASTM route, hot rolled sheet and strip in coil in A1011/A1011M. Name the standard beside the grade in the enquiry: the code is what the certificate is checked against, and the edition is settled with the specification.
An order starts at one coil and at least 3 t, on any route here. The lead time is not fixed until the specification and the quantity are, and it is confirmed against both.
State use, delivered form, standard and grade, quantity and required documents. For coil give rolling route, thickness, width and surface or temper; for plate give finished size and condition; for pipe give dimensions and tests; for bar give section, size and machining allowance.
Prices are quoted in US dollars on FOB Qingdao terms. Payment runs 30% T/T with the order and the remaining 70% before the coil ships. An enquiry gets an answer within 2 hours.
No. ZIVO STEEL CO., LTD. is a steel supplier and owns no mill and no rolling line. Partner factories roll the coil; ZIVO specifies the order, checks thickness, width, surface, weight, packing and labels before shipment, and ships it. Every export market is served except the United States.
No. Zinc-coated coil is a separate commercial family, with its own pages, its own ordering fields and its own lines on the certificate, and it never appears in a carbon table here. ZIVO supplies both, through the same partner-factory route; if a project needs uncoated and coated coil together, say so in the enquiry and both are quoted.
The mill original of the mill test certificate, and a packing list, with every shipment. Photos of the coil labels can be provided, and third-party inspection by SGS or BV is accepted with its cost paid by you.
