China Carbon Steel Sheet Supplier: Specify the Finished Piece
ZIVO STEEL can arrange coil-derived cut-length sheet and separately sourced finished sheet. Specify hot- or cold-rolled material, the finished-piece schedule and acceptance requirements so each route can be evaluated for your order.

Select the Supply Route
ZIVO STEEL can arrange carbon steel thin sheet through a coil-derived cut-length route or a separately sourced finished-sheet route. Start with the finished flat piece your operation needs, then ask the quotation to identify how that piece will be sourced. A parent-coil listing alone does not establish the finished sheet dimensions, flatness or packing.
For a coil-derived order, the proposed coil, leveling and cutting must be checked against the finished-piece requirement. For separately sourced sheet, check the offered source, delivery condition and package as a flat-product order. Do not assume the routes share the same tolerance, surface, inspection-document basis or source identification. If either route is acceptable, request separate offers against the same drawing and list any deviations before choosing.
Coil-derived cut length
A suitable carbon steel coil is leveled and cut to finished flat pieces. Define the finished dimensions, edge, flatness and piece count after processing.
Separately sourced finished sheet
Partner suppliers provide finished flat sheet. Identify the offered hot- or cold-rolled type, grade, source and delivery condition for this order.
Specify Material and Condition
Hot-rolled and cold-rolled carbon steel sheet are separate ordering choices on this page. ZIVO can evaluate both for the required sourcing route, but a change between them is not an appearance-only substitution. Put the required material type, grade, governing product standard and edition, delivery condition and end use on the RFQ. If the drawing leaves an option open, state which requirement the alternative must meet and who can approve it.
Describe the operation the sheet must enter: cutting, bending, pressing, welding or machining. Specify any requirement on forming, mechanical properties or surface preparation through the applicable material specification or drawing. Ask the offer to identify the selected grade and condition, rather than accepting a generic carbon steel description. A coil grade, a plate grade or a similar overseas designation must not silently replace the specified sheet material.
- Hot-rolled requirementName the required grade, standard edition and delivery or surface condition. State which drawing requirements control the order.
- Cold-rolled requirementName the required grade and condition separately, including any forming or surface requirement. Do not copy the hot-rolled acceptance line.
Set Finished Dimensions
Prepare a piece schedule with finished thickness, width, length and count for each line. Use one unit system and identify the drawing revision. Distinguish dimensions at delivery from dimensions after your own machining or trimming; show an allowance only where the process needs it. An upstream coil width or total weight is not a finished sheet schedule.
State the critical flatness, length and width criteria, edge condition and measurement method. If thin pieces will feed an automated process, include the handling or feeding restriction that matters to that line. The quotation needs to resolve the selected source, processing steps and finished acceptance together. Numerical dimensions and tolerances are evaluated for that order; this page does not publish a universal sheet range.
- Finished-piece scheduleThickness, width, length, quantity by size, unit system and drawing revision.
- Acceptance methodCritical dimensions, flatness measurement, edge or trim condition, and the point at which acceptance is checked.
Agree Surface and Protection
Describe the delivered surface that your next operation needs. State whether oil, surface preparation, a protected face or a particular handling-mark limit is required or prohibited. Ask the quotation to describe the offered condition and any deviation. Do not assume that material from a cut-length route and separately sourced sheet has the same surface or protection arrangement.
Agree how pieces will be separated, stacked, marked and packed for the destination. Give the maximum practical package weight or dimensions as a request if your unloading equipment has a limit. Identify which marks need to remain visible after unpacking and whether individual pieces need identification when a bundle is split. At receipt, keep dated photographs of labels, wrapping, moisture or transport damage before processing the material. Packaging and protection are order terms to agree, not a standard service implied by the product name.
Resolve Inspection and RFQ
Request the inspection document needed for the order and ask how it will identify the material actually delivered. Coil-derived pieces need an agreed connection to the source material plus separate checks of the finished piece; a parent-coil record does not establish finished flatness or cut dimensions. Separately sourced sheet needs its own source identification and document basis. Confirm the document type, availability and any inspection responsibility in the written offer.
Send the selected or acceptable sourcing route, hot- or cold-rolled type, grade and standard edition, delivery condition, finished-piece schedule, flatness and edge requirements, surface and protection instructions, marking, inspection documents, packing and destination. Ask for any exclusions or alternative route to be stated against the same lines. ZIVO evaluates the actual sheet request before quoting available combinations, price or timing. Use the plate page if the requirement is a plate purchase rather than a thin-sheet order.
Before placing the order
Match the drawing and piece schedule to the offered source route, condition, acceptance method and written deviations.
At receipt
Compare marks, packing list, document references, piece count and agreed measurements before mixing lots or cutting parts.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. We can evaluate coil-derived cut-length sheet and separately sourced finished sheet. The quotation identifies the proposed route and the finished requirements for your order.
No. Specify the required material type, grade, standard and delivery condition separately. Any alternative needs approval against the applicable material and drawing requirements.
No. Finished width, length, thickness, flatness, edge and piece count need their own order check, together with the selected processing or sourcing route.
State the applicable standard and edition or drawing requirement, measurement method and acceptance point. The supplier offer must identify the basis it can meet; no universal flatness value is assumed.
No. Request the inspection document type and its link to the delivered material. Availability and responsibility must be accepted in the written quotation or order.
Name the required or prohibited oil, protection and surface condition, the critical face, and the packing or handling restrictions relevant to your next operation.
Use the carbon steel plate page when the requirement is plate. For an uncertain form, send the drawing and end use so the quotation can identify the offered product form instead of treating sheet and plate as the same order.
They are quoted against the actual material, finished-piece schedule, source route, processing, document and destination requirements. This page does not state a fixed MOQ, stocked range or lead time.
