Identify the PPGL substrate
Start with the steel substrate and the aluminium-zinc-coated metallic coating required for this PPGL coil. State the product standard, grade and coating designation on the enquiry rather than assuming the paint color identifies the metal underneath. Ask whether the quoted thickness is measured on the base metal or on the finished coated product. ZIVO can source this form through partner suppliers for an individual order; the exact grade, coating and dimensions need that partner's confirmation. If the specification is for PPGI, use its separate product page and order line.
Define paint and appearance
A PPGL coil order needs an organic-coating specification in addition to its metallic-coated base. Record the primer, visible topcoat and reverse-side coat separately, including which face will be exposed after forming. State a controlled color reference, physical sample and gloss or texture requirement when appearance matters. Ask the supplier to confirm the actual paint system, film measurement and forming suitability against your process; an acronym from a competitor's catalogue does not establish what ZIVO can supply. Keep the sample and lot reference with the order so the received coil can be compared with the agreed finish.
Aluminium-zinc substrate standard and grade

Specify coil geometry
Give the required finished width and thickness basis, the inner diameter that your line accepts, maximum coil weight, winding direction, edge condition and quantity. If the coil will be slit or profiled later, include the downstream drawing and any surface-protection limits. The partner may propose a different coil size or packing route; compare that proposal against your line limits before approving it. Do not assume another PPGL listing's range is available for this order.

Agree tests and documents
Agree which documents identify the PPGL substrate and coating lot, which paint sample controls appearance, and where surface, edge and packaging condition will be inspected. A parent-coil record can support material identity but does not prove the performance of a later formed part. If the project requires a bend, film-thickness or other test, name the applicable method and acceptance condition in the order after the supplier confirms it. Keep transit damage evidence separate from a manufacturing nonconformity.
