China Carbon Steel Plate Supplier
ZIVO STEEL supplies Q235B carbon steel plate through confirmed partner rolled-plate and suitable cut-to-length routes. Share the drawing, delivery condition, finished size and inspection basis so we can check the exact order.

General-Purpose Plate Supply Routes
ZIVO STEEL arranges Q235B general-purpose carbon steel plate as a supplier. Confirmed business routes include partner rolled plate, suitable hot-rolled coil cut to length and leveled, and partner plate cut to order size. These are separate sourcing paths; the exact dimensions, delivery condition and cutting result are checked against the order and supplier evidence. A steel-coil configuration does not automatically prove a plate size or processing combination.
Rolled plate route
Specify the required plate format, material designation and inspection basis before selecting a partner source.
Cut-to-length route
If a coil-derived flat product is suitable, confirm the parent material, leveling, final dimensions and processing allowance for that order.
Grade and Delivery Condition Before Size
A plate quotation should start with the governing material standard and grade, followed by the delivery condition the design requires. The grade name alone does not settle whether the item is rolled plate or cut-to-length material, or whether additional processing and inspection are needed. Provide the drawing revision and intended fabrication step; ZIVO can then check a matching route. No grade or standard listed for a different product form is automatically a plate offer.
- Material designationName the current standard and edition plus the grade required by the design.
- Delivery conditionState the condition needed for cutting, welding or further forming, with any test requirement.
Rolled Plate, Cut-to-Length and Finished Size
State the finished thickness, width and length, quantity by size, and whether the drawing accepts a rolled plate or requires a cut-to-length route. A plate order also needs a decision on edge condition and any stock allowance for subsequent machining or cutting. If a mill-format plate must be split into finished pieces, show the cutting layout and mark which dimensions are before and after processing. ZIVO will check the available parent material and cut-to-size route for that specific request. Ask the quotation to name the selected source route—rolled plate, hot-rolled coil cut to length, or partner plate cut to size—so the receiving team can compare the delivered piece and certificate with the route actually ordered.
Rolled plate
Ask for the plate-format dimensions, delivery condition and identification method.
Cut-to-length flat product
Check whether the source coil and leveling route can deliver the requested piece size and shape.

Flatness, Edge and Cutting Acceptance
Describe the receiving condition that lets the plate enter fabrication: flatness method, edge quality, cut tolerance, and the amount of material that can be removed during machining. A nominal length without a cutting allowance can leave a part short after preparation. Put measurement and sampling rules on the purchase specification rather than assuming one mill tolerance applies to every route. Any special cutting or additional test remains subject to the confirmed order.
- Flatness and measurementDefine the support condition and inspection method used at receipt.
- Edge and allowanceShow final part geometry, kerf or trim allowance, and which edges need preparation.
Plate Identification and Inspection
Match the plate or cut piece to its purchase line, heat or batch identity and document set before release. Ask which markings survive cutting, and whether a cut piece needs an additional transfer label. State the required certificate and any independent inspection on the inquiry; those requirements must be checked against the actual sourcing and processing route. A generic coil certificate does not by itself prove the identity of every finished plate piece.
Before processing
Confirm the source identification and the inspection document requested for the order.
After cutting
Agree how identification is transferred to each piece and how the receiving team checks it.

Send a Plate Drawing for Quotation
Send the drawing and purchase schedule with intended use, standard and grade, delivery condition, finished thickness × width × length, piece count, acceptable rolled or cut-to-length route, flatness and edge criteria, cutting allowance, inspection documents and destination. ZIVO will check the actual plate and processing combination before confirming availability, price or timing.
Use the sheet and plate RFQ guide to keep the finished-piece specification, packing requirements and receipt evidence together before sending the schedule.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. A coil-derived cut-to-length route is checked against the drawing, material designation, dimensions, flatness and inspection requirement for the actual order.
Give finished thickness, width and length for each size, piece count, cutting allowance and the acceptance method for flatness and edges.
Specify the source identification, document type and the marking or transfer-label method expected on each finished piece; confirm these with the selected route.
