Choose the delivered form
Start with the form that arrives at your plant or site. A coil is feedstock for later processing; a flat sheet is ordered by finished piece size and surface condition; a profiled sheet must match a profile drawing and effective cover width. Those are different receiving and packaging decisions. If your drawing names only a color or a trade name, add the final geometry before asking for a price. The form determines which product page and order fields you need.
Choose PPGI or PPGL substrate
PPGI means a prepainted galvanized steel substrate; PPGL means a prepainted aluminium-zinc-coated steel substrate. The metallic coating and the organic paint are separate parts of the specification. A color code does not identify the base steel or either coating. Choose the substrate required by your project specification, then ask for the paint system, face, sample and test basis. Build a complete order line
Put the substrate specification and grade, metallic coating designation, base-metal or finished-thickness basis, paint system on each face, color reference, delivered dimensions and quantity in the same enquiry. A coil also needs winding and weight limits. Flat pieces need a piece schedule and protection. Profiles need the drawing and effective cover width. This keeps comparisons on one purchasing basis when the offers describe different products.

Agree appearance and acceptance
Agree which face is visible, whether a physical color sample controls appearance, and which documents identify the lot. Receipt checks differ by form: a coil needs identification and surface/edge condition; a flat sheet needs piece size and stack protection; a profile needs geometry, length and bundle count. Test names and acceptance limits belong in the purchase order only after the relevant supplier confirms the method and product scope.

ZIVO will check the combination and delivery conditions with a partner supplier before quoting. If the order is for an unpainted aluminium-zinc coil, prepainted strip or a complete roof system, this approved product range does not establish that route; describe it separately for review.
