China S350GD Galvanized Steel Coil Supplier
ZIVO STEEL is a steel supplier, and this page covers S350GD ordered as galvanized coil. The strength class and the zinc coating are two separate decisions that happen to travel on one line of a purchase order, and running them together is what makes offers hard to compare. What follows is how to settle each.

Confirm the S350GD Requirement
S350GD describes the substrate your engineer specified. Naming it on an order does not approve a structure, size a member or promise that a profile will roll — those decisions were made on the drawing, and the material order exists to deliver what was approved.
So send the requirement as approved: the profile or component, what it does in the structure, and the grade exactly as the drawing writes it. No strength value, chemistry or minimum bend radius is published here from the grade name, because those belong to the standard the project works to and to the lot that ships.
As the drawing writes it
Send the grade and the product standard with its edition, exactly as your approval document states them. Both are checked against the lot proposed for your order.
What stays on the drawing
Member sizing, load cases and the choice of strength class belong to whoever signed the design. A material order neither re-opens them nor approves them.
What it is being made into
Say what the coil becomes — purlin, deck, frame member, panel — and what it carries. That is what the forming and coating questions below get answered against.
S350GD Galvanized Coil from ZIVO
The table sets out the route this page covers: S350GD with a hot-dip zinc coating, continuously galvanized on cold-rolled base metal, 0.12–6.0 mm thick in widths from 600 to 1500 mm, with coating arranged across a commercial range from Z30 to Z275 g/m². That span describes what can be arranged; it is not a list of standard coating classes. The coating for your order is named on the enquiry and fixed in the quotation.
Settings shared across the galvanized range rather than this row alone are listed once: spangle can be zero, minimized, regular or big; surface treatment can be chromate passivation, chromium-free passivation, phosphating, oiled, dry or anti-fingerprint; skin pass is available; edges are mill or slit. Which of them applies to your order is confirmed in the quotation.
Galvanized coil is supplied from partner factories: an order runs from partner-factory stock where suitable stock is held and from production where it is not, with the lead time confirmed against the specification and the quantity.

Choose Coating Independently of Strength
A higher strength class does not bring a heavier coating with it, and a heavier coating does not make a thinner section work. They answer different questions — one is what the member has to resist, the other is what the surface has to survive — so decide them separately and write both onto the order.
For the coating itself, EN 10346:2015 is the reference worth knowing: it defines coating mass as the total given for both surfaces, and forms a coating designation by combining the nominal mass with the symbol for the coating type, expressed in grams per square metre. That is how a designation reads in that standard — not a statement that the commercial range on this page has been demonstrated against it. The mass basis, the sampling and the test acceptance for a supplied lot are agreed in the quotation.
- Coating applied laterIf the part is painted or coated after forming, say so. The passivation and oiling choice depends on what has to bond over the top of it.
- How it will be measuredState the test method, the sampling and the acceptance limit your project runs on. Those become order requirements once confirmed, instead of an argument at goods-in.
- Name the coating you needGive the coating requirement for this order rather than accepting a span. Exposure, service environment and anything applied later are what drive the choice.
- Strength is not corrosionNo service life follows from a strength class, and none follows from a coating weight on its own. Detailing, cut edges and exposure all sit outside what a coil carries.

Review Forming, Joining and Surface Needs
A structural galvanized coil is bought to be formed. Roll forming, folding and punching work the zinc layer as well as the steel, and how either behaves depends on the tooling, the sequence and the tightest radius as much as on what was ordered. No bend radius, weldability or tool life is promised here: send the process and its constraints and they are assessed against what can be offered.
Joining method
Say how the part is joined — welded, riveted, screwed, clinched — because the method changes what the coating around the joint has to tolerate.
Profile and sequence
Send the profile drawing, the number of stands, the tightest bend and the rolling direction. That is what a coating and surface choice gets made against.
Surface on arrival
State the treatment and oiling your line needs, and whether the visible face carries an appearance requirement. Both are confirmed in the quotation rather than assumed.
Agree Grade, Coating and Receipt Evidence
Grade and coating are proved by different documents and different measurements, so ask for them separately. Every shipment travels with a mill test certificate and a packing list, and the certificate supplied is the mill original; before the coils leave, ZIVO checks thickness, width, surface, weight, packing and labels. Coils go out with steel edge protectors, moisture-proof paper and a wooden pallet, and are not shipped unpacked. What each of your two acceptances needs beyond that is what the enquiry has to say.
- Coating documentsAsk separately for what the certificate has to show on the coating, with the method and the sampling behind it. Neither document set substitutes for the other.
- Grade documentsSay which properties the certificate has to report and how they were tested. A grade name printed on a document is not the property evidence your project holds it to.
- Lot identity and extra testsHeat or lot numbers have to tie the certificate to the coil marking and the packing list. A specific certificate type or any test beyond what ships is agreed order by order; third-party inspection such as SGS or BV is accepted, with its cost paid by you.
- Size, shape and toleranceGive thickness and width with the tolerance you hold them to, either as explicit limits off the drawing or as an agreed standard class, plus mill or slit edge and any flatness requirement.
Prepare Your S350GD Inquiry
A quotation is priced off the description and the quantity. Here that means the approved material, the coating you have chosen and how it is proven, the sizes and tolerances, the profile the coil goes into, and the evidence you need at receipt.
- Coating and basisThe coating requirement for this order, and how its mass is to be measured and sampled.
- Approved materialS350GD as the drawing writes it, with the product standard and edition your acceptance runs on.
- Profile and surfaceThe profile and forming sequence, the joining method, and the spangle, treatment and packing wanted.
- Quantity, destination, documentsQuantity per size and in total, the destination port, and the certificate content and inspection you require. Write to henry@zivosteel.com or use the form below.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. The strength class and the coating are ordered separately and neither implies the other. Decide what the member has to resist and what the surface has to survive as two questions, then write both onto the order; the coating you name is the one fixed in the quotation.
In that standard the coating mass is defined as the total given for both surfaces, and a designation combines the nominal mass with the symbol for the coating type, expressed in grams per square metre. That is the standard's reference definition rather than a measurement of the coil you receive: the mass basis, the sampling and the test acceptance for a supplied lot are agreed in the quotation for your order.

The grade and the standard edition you name are checked against the lot proposed, and what the certificate has to report is agreed before material is committed. What is not offered is a design check or a substitution: whoever approved the grade owns that decision, and no other grade is put in its place unless it is agreed in writing on the order.
A mill test certificate — the mill original — and a packing list come with each shipment, and thickness, width, surface, weight, packing and labels are checked before the coils leave. A specific certificate type, an additional test or a coating measurement your project needs is agreed order by order, each with its method, standard and sampling frequency.
