Start with the Profiling Line and Panel Drawing
Send the panel drawing with rib geometry, bends, cut ends, visible face and any embossing or punching. Identify the profiling, cut-off and stacking steps and the plant's accepted trial part. A roof-panel name alone does not identify the material or feed dimensions the line can process.
This inquiry concerns raw coil. Ask the responsible roof-system designer to define panel performance, joints, fastening, installation and exposure separately from the input-coil order.
Set Substrate and Forming Requirements
State the product standard and edition, substrate grade, delivery condition, thickness, feed width and edge. Mark the bends and deformation points that require a line trial. Ask the forming engineer to compare the material certificate, tool settings and approved profile sample for the actual route.
Do not infer that a stronger grade, a generic galvanized coil or a prior panel made on another line will form correctly. The quoted material and its condition must match the accepted drawing and process.
Choose Coating and Surface with the Exposure in View
Give the intended environment, expected wetness, nearby contaminants, visible face, paint or other finish plan and maintenance assumptions to the system designer. Identify the coating family and order designation needed for the actual raw coil. Review forming, cut-edge and handling appearance against an agreed sample.
Ask the designer what project-specific evidence is required for coating choice and expected service conditions. A generic coating-life estimate cannot approve a ZIVO coil or a finished roof. The designer must approve the complete system and exact material specification for the destination site.

Check Coil Handling and Delivery for the Line
Provide the allowed coil inside and outside diameters, maximum weight, winding or uncoiling direction, feed width and any slitting or changeover constraints. Define edge protection, packing, labels and unloading method for your plant. These are equipment and logistics limits to be checked against a quote, not default ZIVO ranges.
Record which party is responsible for any slitting or re-packing, and how the heat or coil number remains traceable after it. Reject a delivered coil that does not match the agreed handling specification before it enters the line.
Order and Receive the Feedstock Coil
Send the profile and line constraints, substrate identity, thickness and width, coating and surface request, coil dimensions and weight limit, edge, lot documents, packing and planned inspection. Ask ZIVO STEEL to confirm the exact available raw-coil configuration, exclusions and any processing responsibility in its offer.
At receipt, match labels and documents to the order, inspect the agreed dimensions and surface, and run the accepted profile trial. Keep the resulting panel and roof-system qualification separate from material receipt approval.
